Izumi Shikibu
(Birth/death dates unknown)She was the mother of Koshikibu-no-Naishi. She wrote of her love for a prince and a high-ranking government officer in the Izumi Shikibu Nikki (Diary of Izumi Shikibu). She was included amongst the Thirty-Six Medieval Immortal Poets.
